Why don't more people support nader or barr?

I'm an independent liberal who's voting for nader, but I would vote for bob barr who's a conservative anyday over those 2 idiots (Barack and McCain). Why are liberals voting for this guy, he hasn't followed what he preaches. He has voted for every war funding bill since he's been a senator. He flip floped on campign finance, he has very little experence in washington, he has way too many friends that can be considered dangerous, he doesn't want real universal healthcare like in canada, he won't end the war, he's already showing that, and he is completly horrible at speaking without a telepromter. As far as McCain, he's in his 70's, hes a republican, he supports almost everything bush has done, he wont end the war, he won't fix the economy, and he will probley pick mitt romney as his vp who i think is the biggest jerk on the planet. So why not vote independent?
