Advice about how to tackle a grievance interview against my bully at work.?

You contact them and ask for a revised day for your review due to the bank holiday and want to reschedule it as you are LEGALLY entitled to bring a person with you. My advice is to take your union rep with you AND you need to speak to him before going to the meeting. He will advise you on what to say and what not to say. He can also speak up for you - your husband can't give the same legal support as a Union Rep. It is a reasonable request, and put it in writing also. Don't, whatever you do, go to the meeting alone. Take any info with you ie, approximate dates and times of incidents that have happened and if any witnesses were present. They can be named as present even though they may not be called in to the meeting. Good Luck
