If Creationists say they want "equal time" for Creationism in public school curricula?
The Supreme Court in what was a valid decision decided that teaching creation is teaching religion. How do you support teaching religious myths in science cl? Creation stories are certainly myths and they have no valid scientific basis. If you are going to do that you might as well just call school a church. I have no problem with them teaching creation stories if they are shown to be just myths. I loved Greek mythology. They don't even need to pound in the fact that they are myths. They should be required to show that science demonstrates them to be fairy tales at least for the ones that clearly are like Adam and Eve and Noah's arc.... They also need to be kept as far away from science as possible.
