What does christaianity say about backbiting,slandering, gosipping about another fellow human??

is it totally forbidden to talk behind some ones back or is it seen as a normal human nature that needs to be said and you don't see nothing wrong in saying it. what ever the case you believe in pls give me reference from the bible
