Remember Oregon Trail?

i remember that game and thinking it was the crappiest game ever, i didn't understand why it was popular except that perhaps kids got to play it in school because teachers pretended it had educational value and so could use it instead of teaching, I don't remember playing it in school tho, I remember playing it by a friends house and being like this game sucks lets play street fighter
